What we collect, and why
We collect only the information needed for the purpose stated beside each form. A contact enquiry collects your name, email address, the nature of your enquiry and your message — so that a person at Kodumela can answer you. Nothing on this website requires you to create an account.
Consent
Operational consent (processing your enquiry) is kept separate from marketing consent (receiving updates). Consent boxes are never pre-ticked. When you submit a form we record the timestamp, the wording you agreed to and the policy version in force at that moment.
Children's information
Programme forms that involve learners require guardian or otherwise legally appropriate consent. A legal review must be completed before any information is collected directly from a child through this website. Learner information is never exposed publicly, never sent to analytics or advertising platforms, and impact data is reported only in aggregate.
Images and consent
Photographs are catalogued with photographer credit, rights status and, where children appear, a consent record. The content management system blocks publication of any image whose required rights fields are incomplete.
Your rights
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us and we will respond with the process and the timeframe.
Security and retention
All traffic to this website is encrypted in transit over HTTPS, and the browser is instructed to refuse an unencrypted connection. Access to the administration system requires an account, is restricted by role, and every change is recorded in an audit log.
We will not claim more than we can show. A documented retention schedule, verified encryption-at-rest for our hosting and database, an assigned incident-response owner and an independent security assessment are required before this site handles personal information at scale, and are not yet complete. Until they are, please do not send us sensitive personal information through this website.
Analytics
This website currently runs no analytics, no advertising pixels and no third-party tracking cookies. Nothing about your visit is sent to an analytics provider, because no such provider is connected. If Kodumela introduces analytics, this notice will be updated first and any consent required will be requested before it is switched on.
