University students, graduates and subject experts who return to rural schools in the Summer, Winter and Spring holidays to tutor Grade 10 to 12 learners — many of them former learners of the same schools.
Tutors are recruited from universities across South Africa, many of them alumni of the schools they return to teach in, and matched to the subjects where learners lose the most marks: mathematics, science and accounting.
