Career Guidance & Assessment

Know what you are suited to before you have to choose.

Psychometric career assessment and one-to-one counselling, delivered in partnership with MyCareerSolved, so that learners choose subjects and study routes on evidence rather than guesswork.

The challenge

Subject choice in Grade 9 quietly decides which degrees are still possible in Grade 12. Most rural learners make that decision with no assessment, no counsellor and no data about their own aptitudes.

The programme model

How it runs, stage by stage.

  1. 01

    Identify need

Learners approaching subject choice or matric are identified with their schools.

  2. 02

    Match support

Kodumela partners with MyCareerSolved to deliver the assessment.

  3. 03

    Deliver learning

Learners complete the assessment and receive a career-fit profile.

  4. 04

    Expose opportunity

A qualified counsellor helps each learner interpret what the result means for them.

  5. 05

    Follow progress

Results feed into the guidance learners receive at the Science & Career Expo.
